Who I Am

I’m a technologist, licensed realtor, developer, and community advocate with a passion for ethical governance, responsible planning, and people-centered solutions. My work spans real estate, addictions and mental health advocacy, civil planning, and building tools that empower communities.

Why I’m Running

Nanaimo is growing quickly, and we need leadership that understands both the human challenges and the major structural decisions ahead. I’m running because I believe my diverse experience can help council make smarter, more informed choices — especially on large capital projects that shape our city’s future. I also bring a practical, evidence‑based solution to the homelessness, mental health, and addictions crisis that continues to impact families, businesses, and public spaces across Nanaimo.

My family has built deep roots here. As a father raising four children in this community, I want Nanaimo to remain an incredible place to grow up — safe, vibrant, and full of opportunity. This city has given us so much, and I feel a responsibility to give back in a meaningful and impactful way. When I realized that council didn’t have someone with the unique blend of experience I could offer, stepping forward wasn’t just a choice — it felt like the right thing to do for my family, my neighbours, and the future of Nan
